Tank removal

In order to access the plugs the tank shall be removed.
1. Unscrew top fairing bolts.

2. Release the main tank bolt

After the tank released it is needed to de-touch 4 tubes

The tank removed and now we can access the plugs

2 central plugs are not so easy to access

The new and the old one

Coolant replacement

No leaks are found in fuel/oil/brake systems, the clutch and throttler free plays are ok, the idle speed is ~1.3
The chain shall be stretched or replaced (since the Honda dealer promised to give me a new one ...)
Front tire seems to be a bit dry, I'll ask some tire guy about it.

TO-DO:
1. Carburetors synchronization - will be done soon
2. Brakes liquid replacement - will be done soon with brake pads
3. Front fork oil replacement (according to the service book shall be done every 2 years)

The air filter and the sparks just making the difference :-)

  1. Dear Alex,

Can you please explain little more detailed how to replace spark plugs. Do you had to unmount the radiator or the cooling hose? How did you access the 2 central plugs?

    Thank you.
    Best regards.
